Hi All, I must fast for at least four hours before taking medication. I take the medication in the evening and in the morning. I fast after eating super then take a heartburn medication. I do not eat all night and take a medication before breakfast. I wait an hour after taking my medication to eat. I have tried eating smaller meals and reward myself with a mani or pedi. Our 300 km trip turned into about 8 or 9 hours, so we're both exhausted - between me trying to navigate our way down the Andes, and DH driving through the clouds because we were so high up, well, we're both ready for bed.

But we're in Cuenca, we have a nice room in an old house with a big courtyard, and we get to go off exploring tomorrow. So life is good.

And I'm clueless about my calories - I input the general items I ate, but it looks like I'm way over my cals, and I didn't think I ate that much. Oh well, better tomorrow.

JAMIRBLAZE: I remember reading a sign at a craft fair, obviously aimed at crafters and crafter-wannabes. "Sure, you could make it yourself. But WILL you?"

Rain, rain, rain for a three or four day stretch. Good in that our expensive new sod will slurp it down. Bad in that I'll be cooped up with DH, who reacts to rainy days like a three year old. "I'm booooorrred." He didn't care for the gym that he tried out with a seven-day free pass this morning, so I'm at a loss about how to get him through the winter. I shooed him out the door to mall walk but that only helps for two hours a day before the stores open. He's quite likely to conjure up some complicated and expensive home improvement project now that he's finished all the obvious ones.

Lunch today is salmon patties, the ones where I sneak in pork rinds instead of bread crumbs. When I brought pork rinds home from the grocery store a few months ago, from DH's reaction you'd have thought I'd suddenly decided to incorporate chicken feet into my cuisine, like the Chinese.

Good morning all,

Yesterday I power-walked around the mall (2 full laps) while doing my errands, and then had more errands to do outside the mall. I ended up with over 15K steps, AND burning over 2K calories according to Fitbit. My goal is to hit that calorie burn goal more frequently, and my new routine does seem to be helping a bit.

I got my morning working in, and increased the intensity of my TM and stair routine a bit. I'll be flying out this evening, so I also made sure to top off my 10 flights of stairs at the gym this morning. Today I'll match my previous 81 day 10K step streak. I'll try to get all my steps in tomorrow, but will have to be flexible since it's funeral day. Hopefully some of the cousins will be up to taking a walk and chatting.

See y'all later!

Happy Monday...meh! Needed an extra weekend day, for sure. Very tired today.

Didn't end up doing Disney, but very spur of the moment, I got a great recommendation and price to get the remaining 5 trees close to the house done. The guy came out yesterday - hustling on a Sunday - small businesses. And picked up another small job from a neighbor who had used the guy before. So I spent part of yesterday hauling wood to our next door neighbor (so we didn't have to pay haul away) and got my 9 mile run in last night. They were rough, but run a little fast for long, slow distance, so my own fault. Saturday was spent at the craft fair where I picked up some gifts and a few Christmas-y things and a necklace for me. My legs are yelling at me from the abuse. And then the guy found a sprinkler/art piece thing that we connected to our drain for our air cooling system to spread water more, but we had to trench 50 feet or so to run the hose to a new spot.

Now, we just have to settle on a roofer, and some of the big house projects will be done...for now.

Long day today at work. One of those leave in the dark, get home after dark kind of days. But I will get some activity in today. Hope that everyone has a good one!

I agree about the addiction to Spark. Why do I care about a bunch of stupid points? It's just more numbers to obsess over.

I dropped my husband off at the imaging center this morning, I'll go pick him up in half an hour. It's $1500 cash on the barrelhead, I sure hope it's worth it and tell us something concrete.

I have a busy week coming up. When did I ever find the time to work?

Hello! Happy Monday. Healthy vibes going out to all that need them!

Sunday, Nov 1, I will be running a 5K with my running group for a "Back to the Future" run benefitting Parkinson's. I will be meeting them at 12:45 AM, yes, AM. So by the time we are done, our end time will be before our start time!

I'm really paying attention to my food this week. I've been off the rails for a couple weeks. This week will be TOM so it will be a challenge but I'm gonna take the bull by the horns!

Good morning team! Toni - you are the travelingest girl I know. Have fun. I agree - Fall on a college campus is so invigorating. Maree - glad you got in one more boat spree. Himself has to get his out of the water this week and he's feeling a little blue. LOL! OoLaLa - I so know your pain about the addiction of Sparkpeople. I can play here and suddenly it's been an hour an a half! As for DST - here's my opinion.

Good morning, Happy Monday.

I slipped in a Sunday afternoon gym workout with a friend yesterday. Feeling virtuous. Usually don't do heavy duty stuff on Sundays.

Meeting with my writing group today, work and some appointments tomorrow and then Wednesday on a plane to the midwest for 4 days. My DH is on the board of a college so it will be on a campus--always the most fun in the Fall. We'll reconnect with the student intern we had with us all summer too.

Hi ho--off to live into Monday. emoticon

Good morning!

I vote for the long days of summer all year long. LOL!!

Yesterday was SO beautiful we decided to count it as a bonus day and went to a sandbar with our friends. We winterized the water system and the generator on the houseboat and I washed all the bedding and hung it outside to dry. We decided to keep the little boat at the Marina for another week or two. ;))

Great workout Kellie! Although I first read it as you ran twenty miles on the treadmill! Then I saw that "point" in front of it. Whew!

Crossfit and cardio for me for 90 minutes.

Hope all those feeling "puny" recover soon. It's really going around.

Hope all have a great day!
