Calories in range, some walking, and I'm falling asleep at the computer. Bed time for me!

Just a quick hello today. I won't be around internet for the next two days.

It's hard to be doing this kind of traveling by car. Every other time we've been around here it's been on motorcyles. I gather Sturgis will be starting soon because we are seeing (and hearing) a lot of Harleys. We saw the BMWs going in the other direction from the rally last week in Billings, the one we would have gone to if my husband could still ride. Sigh.

A great day! Power walked "the hill" that was 6.71 miles. Swam in a white capped Lake Superior for 20 minutes, walked the dog for 40, and stretched! emoticon

Hi All, It is too hot to exercise and I need to drink a lot of water. It will be 90 again today. I walked the dogs this morning. I will need to go outside for shorter periods of time. Linda from bean town

Hey Hey Hey, happy Friday!

Someone told me yesterday that the bangs make me look younger which is good to hear as I keep marching towards the big 5 - O next month.

We had a great group motorcycle ride yesterday. Outside the resturant we all ate at there was an old car show going on which was fun. All that fresh air always knocks me out. Always hard to get up the next morning but here I am.

I have a big challenge here at work today so I'll tackle that, get some walks in on breaks, walk the dog tonight, get some stretching done and go to bed early. 5K obstacle course tomorrow.

Good morning everyone! Wishing all of you who are dealing with the medical world swift healing and cooperative patients if it's your loved one who is playing with doctors. Kelly I had my bangs trimmed yesterday too but I'm holding off till the end of August for the complete haircut. I'd like a little more length. Toni - beautiful Pacific North West. One of my bucket list trips is to take all the ferries around Puget Sound. Probably going to be my first trip after retirement which is in 2 years and 33 days. Am I counting? What makes you ask that? emoticon

Keep that magic strong, Russ. Congratulations on those of you who are back in your happy weight range. In spite of my intended Chocolate Excess today I think I will still be closer to my own sweet spot at my next weigh-in. It's all about portion control and choices.

So - I have just discovered Geneen Roth, author of Women Food and God. Not the book I am reading - I've got Lost and Found, which is about her relationship with money, but she very deftly compares a bad relationship with money to a bad relationship with food. Interesting reading.

Well, I've got all of my stuff packed for the weekend in Delaware (I think my husband has his stuff all ready:). We'll pack the car and then I'll carpool to work with him, where I'll catch the metro to my company's downtown office for the day. Afterwards, we'll head out after eating a light dinner - the DE state fair is on the schedule for tomorrow, so there will be fair food involved:).

I have a purring cat on my lap as I type this - lots of head-scriching going on:).

The real challenge will be getting my steps in today and tomorrow - it's flat as a pancake out there. I resolve to get up early and take a walk each day.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I was extra thankful yesterday for my rowing machine and the online workout videos I've discovered -- the heat index was 112. Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in that mid-day sun.

Not much cooler today so I'll try for an early morning walk and then Jessica Smith's full body workout. I've learned to space out those rowing machine events or my back starts whining.

Good morning! Happy Friday!

Up too early but I'm going to try to get back to sleep after I get the laundry changed around. Getting ready to head to the houseboat is always a challenge. By Friday morning I need to have everything packed and ready to go so we can head out as soon as possible once the work day is done. DH grills extra meals so we can just zap something in the microwave. Except I cook breakfasts. We eat our favorite healthy breakfast every day.

90 min cardio and crossfit this morning. Healthy lunch (leftover blackened red snapper grilled by DH). My luncheon client failed to show yesterday; had it on her calendar today. So we might try again. I always pack a lunch just in case.

Hope all have a great last day of July!
