My lazy day attitude from yesterday spilled into today, I left work early to go home and nap! I woke up refreshed for the TRX class.

So California is in a drought and then we get a rainstorm that washes out a bridge on THE major road out to Arizona and beyond. Crazy

Tomorrow the parents come home and the 3 year old is ready. Ate too much dessert yesterday so today is a salad day

Good Morning All, I took the dogs for a walk on this very hot and humid day. It is hard to exercise I feel dizzy. I am drinking water and I get heat strokes. I must move more inside today. Linda from bean town

Happy Monday all,

This week is shaping up to be another crazy busy time at work - I'll be glad when Friday rolls around!

The scale has crept up a tiny bit, so I need to be mindful of my intake and get that in check.

Yesterday, I headed out at 2ish PM for a 14 mile bike ride - what was I thinking! It was hot as blazes. It was a poor decision to go out at all, but I feel like I handled it well - stopped at 7-11 on the trail to get water and bananas. Ate a huge banana and guzzled while on my break before heading back home. (I took my break under a highway overpass where I was in the shade and could enjoy the bit of breeze. And, walked the bike for bits where I was feeling weary on the homeward leg. Next time I'll check the temperature before heading out!

Today will be much more moderate - did a little treadmill walking this morning before PT, work, and then just household steps later on.

Get well wishes to Irene!

Last day of my long weekend. It's been great, a run with my daughter along the lake and brunch, a few motorcycle rides, a couple naps. Not looking forward to tomorrow but I'll be thankful for this weekend!

DH and I are going to review our retirement account where I'm sure we'll talk about working until we're 90 ha ha and then another motorcycle ride and lunch somewhere.

Looking forward to yoga tonight. It's been a few weeks since I've been able to go.

This is my last week at home before leaving for two weeks, and the task list gets longer. I have a dental appointment for tomorrow morning at 8. I'll have to leave by 7:15 in order to get there because of rush hour traffic.

So, the more I can get done today, the better the week will go. We're retired so don't have the deadlines like we used to, but there is nothing like a deadline to force that task list to be completed.

I had two tedious indoor tasks that absolutely HAD to get done yesterday so ... done they got. Ugh. but YAY because they're done and the rest of the week just looks interesting and full of possibilities. Was feeling blue but after talking things over with Himself (and blog posting here, thank you all) I feel a lot better. In fact, good enough to brave that nasty heat and take my camera out to photograph hot dogs and butterflies. Butterflies, bees and moths were everywhere now that the wild clethra is in bloom.

It's Monday now - so time to get buzzing.

Good morning!

I'm right there with you all on the heat, humidity and rain and lazy day yesterday. Today, and this whole week, looks so much better. Cooler and less rain. That should improve ability to get outside. Those beach runs sound really great!

Cardio and crossfit today for 90 min. Lean lunch to pack. Snacking yesterday on the dock on foods I usually avoid has me feeling headachy and heavy in the tummy. I'll be able to turn that around today.
