Well, I made it home safely from my 2nd ever bicycle commute. Fitbit estimates that I burned slightly over 300 calories each way - I wonder how accurate that is? I think that I definitely earned my free donut today - it was a yummy treat that I don't have very often.

I'm feeling very mellow from all the exertion. I need to push myself to finish entering my dinner and do my stretches.

Linda from BeanTown so sorry about your foot.

Toni glad you are getting home soon, I love to travel but familiar surroundings are very comforting.

Walked the dog (although it is more of a slow stroll), got in my walk and then did some serious house cleaning. Eating at home all weekend so hopefully the scale will be happy

Had a super good workout today--weight machines, Pilates reformer machine, and then a good swim with DD. Hoping all that helps to make up for the eating boo boos yesterday!
Today is my LAST FRIDAY of work!! So excited! Now I just have to do my last M,T,W, and TH, and I'll be able to move on to new things.

Now I need to walk to the store my son took the car to work. I need to work tomorrow and I will be on my feet for five hours. Have a great weekend. Linda from bean town

Hey Hey! Happy Friday!

OOLALA, sorry you feel you have lost your mojo. Just stick to the baby steps, a little more water, a little more activity and smaller portions. I'm with you in spirit!

I also have a 5K in the morning, to benefit a local zoo so I'm taking it easy tonight. Just some walking and stretching.

I hope everyone has a healthy and active weekend!

Happy Friday! Yay!

Yesterday, I felt off all day, so we ended up eating out because there wasn't much left in the house by this point in the week and then I pretty much did the bare minimum to get ready for today and fell to sleep. High range, but still kept calories in range. Still meh today, but better. Supposed to go out tonight too, so eating lower for breakfast and lunch to have more room to play with. 5K tomorrow morning, so I'll be trying to work in a couple of walks today, but not much more.

Hope that everyone has a good one and a fantastic weekend!

Hooray, it's Friday!

I biked in to work today - it took me 50 minutes (about 7 miles), even with a 3ish minute rest break at the half-way point to let my heart rate settle down. Now I'm checking in with you all before hitting the showers.

Hubby and I had planned to hiking tomorrow (his gaming buddies are coming over on Sunday), but the forecast calls for rain - Oh well, maybe we'll get some stuff done around the house instead:).

And, I'm supposed to look at a Craigslist lawnmower on Sunday morning so I don't have to pay someone to mow our tiny lawn - I'm hoping to buy used.

And, to my great surprise, the scale has rocketed downward the past few days: Wed 128.2, Thurs 127.0, Today 126.1, making my average a firm 128.0. After having the scale keep rising all last month, too. Well, I'm not going to complain about it - I just wish I knew exactly what's been making the difference!

I hope everyone has a great Friday and an enjoyable weekend!

Thank you all for your kind words about losing a loved one. You are really the greatest group!

Donna - congratulations on being at goal for WW! I was .2 lbs over - grrrrr. Even after I took off the underwire bra. emoticon Ah well. Such is life. Pooh - we bumped into 2 little lab pups yesterday - and I developed serious puppy lust. Oh my they were cute. Will Not Buy Third Labrador Puppy. Will Not Buy Third Labrador Puppy.

I have only ever bought 2 pieces of furniture in my life - and we need to get a new loveseat or cozy chair so Himself and I went to Farmville, VA where there is a 10 building Furniture store. This was an information gathering foray so there were no tears. (Long but very funny story - blogworthy, too) And Himself got over the sticker shock so that when we really do go out to buy there may still be no tears. The joke on me is that I believe I will end up buying something from our local furniture shop. Still - tramping through stores was all the exercise I got yesterday and since we had BBQ sandwiches for lunch and pizza for dinner, I will have to go heavy on the veggies for a day or two.

Off to play with sister today - she wants to see this tattoo exhibit

Well, we're sisters, not twins. At least the museum has a great little cafe.

Good morning!!

Yesterday was resteraunt day. A Potbelly sandwich for lunch (only ate half) but then I ended up eating it while driving home. Plus dinner out -- Salman at Coppers Hawk. Calorie count was too high. Very difficult to recover.

Just not sure about new job... Still investigating.

Headed to the gym for the usual. Its Friday!!! And we are houseboat bound.

Hope all have a great day!!
