Doing ok. Things have been crazy around our household. I am just taking one day at a time. I am still exercising every day and trying to eat right, but I haven't done so great lately. I am hoping for a better week! Have a great day everyone! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This has been a hard week. My Mother broke her hip. No cooking, eating on the run and sitting around in the hospital. Not a good combination...

I had a real busy day.. Went out for my last long run before my HM May 17th. I am entering the world of taper now. Yeah!!!
When I got home I got the call I had been waiting for. Little Baby Colt was born around 3 am.
My mother and I went to visit my niece and family at the hospital this afternoon.

I am exhausted now so hopefully I will get a good night sleep.

Wishing all a wonderful weekend!

Great day today.
I upped my weights a bit in Body Pump class and some didn't feel so heavy, but others, YOWZA!
Have a great rest of the weekend everyone.

Well, it was a BUSY day today.

I took my stroll around the neighborhood, and thankfully, none of the yard-sale wares appealed to me:). Then I purchased 3 different tomato plants and one pepper plant from the Robot Tomatoes sale, AND potted them as soon as I got home.

Then, DH and I had lunch, and I headed up to pick up a couple of friends to join me on my trek to MDS&W. I actually stayed away from ALL of the fair food, and nibbled on my healthy rations instead. Bess, if you're in the area, maybe we can meet up there next year.

Then, one of the friends and I went to dinner at Ted's Bulletin, a fairly new restaurant in our area that I hadn't tried before. I had blackened shrimp kebabs, with salad and asparagus for my sides, it was pretty salty, but other than that, I'm very proud of myself for staying on plan.

Tomorrow will be another busy day; I hope everyone sleeps well!

Finally had a good day yesterday and a good one so far today. Going to one of my dance teacher's last class for several months tonight. Boo hoo! She's quitting right when I'm finally having the time open up to be able to go back regularly. sigh.

Calories are at the lower end of my range, I ate something like 6 or 7 servings of fruits/vegs today, and attended the yearly event when Buddhist monks collect donations (including toothbrushes and Coca Cola) - then people threw money from the top floor of one of the buildings on our street, and everyone went crazy trying to catch the money. Absolutely crazy and fun and, well, chaos!

Oooo Poindextra! Maryland Sheep and Wool! or MS&W as I usually type it - I had my first (and last) deep fried twinkee there. what a great event. Haven't been in a long time but maybe next year I should go .... such fun. Be sure to stop by Spirit Trail Fiberworks - in the main building. Toni - so longing to put in a garden this year but this year I'll be Vanquishing Vinca. I think Roundup will be needed. Happy Cleaning Maree - and happy Saturday Chores to us all.

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I was very gratified to see some movement downward on the scale this morning; eating lower sodium dinners definitely helps in that regard:).

It's going to be a busy weekend. After posting this note, I plan to get dressed and walk around our neighborhood to see what people are selling in the community yard sale. Then, it's into the car to the heirloom tomato sale which benefits a local robotics club; I plan to buy two tomato plants and a bell pepper plant. I vow that I WILL NOT neglect my pot-garden this year! Then, I'll pick up 2 friends on the way to the MD Sheep and Wool festival, and wander around there for a couple of hours. One of them will be taking me out to dinner, so I'll need to resist all of the unhealthy fair food.

Tomorrow I'll be playing a short piece in my teacher's end of year student recital, so I'll need to work my bike ride and trip to Costco around that. There will also be treats there, so I should plan to stick to whatever fruit is available. If I'm not careful at the fair and recital, I'll derail the progress I've made this week.

Well, off to get dressed to stalk the neighborhood!

Good morning.

Up early and looking forward to going to the Farmer's Market in our area for first day of the season. Also have plans to plant another herb garden in a container and some flowers on our boat dock. And then tonight, a Cinco de Mayo party at our neighbors a little early.

Maree, I am breathing easier just thinking of you seeing the sunrise and washing your boat! And your plans for the weekend Bess, are wonderful. Kiddo in the house is just such a fun thing. Sunnybeachgirl congratulations for having your blog highlighted by Maintenance leader, TinaJane. Here's the link to her blog to click on, team:

Good morning!

Slept in and appreciating the sunrise across the water!

Exercise will be washing the exterior of this 50 ft houseboat, starting up top at the flybridge and working our way down. A labor of love!

Hope all have a great day!
