Drove three hours to go see my sister in the hospital and walked allover the hospital. I was so tied of walking. Today I walked up and down my driveway. Still drain from yesterday.

Feeling jet-lagged and sleepy. Also have a bit of post-vacation sinusitis. Not looking forward to work tomorrow. Getting back to routine, made it to church this morning. This afternoon I pick up my meat CSA shares. I need to start thinking about menu planning again. Tomorrow starts the "get off that vacation pudge" campaign. Tonight if we have the energy we'll be going out to a jazz club to hear a nephew perform. Lucky for us there's an early set!

So, yesterday was the vet followed by work for 9 hours. Got home around 10:30, couldn't sleep. Finally nodded off sometime after midnight and then up at 4:15 to get to a training run at 6:15 - ARGH - hot, humid and painful and average over a minute a mile slower than my last half in April. On the upside, this race, though expensive, WILL be on my schedule for as long as I run. Since it is run on paths along the river, there is little or no need to block of street and a couple of the running stores in the area sponsor every other week training runs, complete with pacers, hydration stations, post run nutrition and massages etc etc etc. Better run than some races I've done. Going to try to stick with the marathon training group and then plan on knocking out three halfs this fall to get my "half-fanatic". Then, next year a full MAYBE (that's a BIG maybe - HA! get it?) Better go get some more water and nutrition in. Think I'm still a bit loopy!

I spent yesterday at a horse show so I got LOTS of walking in. I helped with registration and running the gate. It was an eight hour day if you include loading and unloading the truck and trailer. I also took the dogs for a walk last night. I'm thinking today would be a good day just to kick back and relax.

Had a good day yesterday as the rain didn't come, just heavy overcast all day, but the grass got cut, laundry dried outdoors and lots of exercise in..

Less chores to do today, so I can relax a bit and enjoy the lushness all the rain has brought to the garden and forest.

Good morning. Did pretty well with eating yesterday. I got 4 miles on treadmill and 5 miles in my bike. Hoping to make good choices today. I have a wedding today.

Good morning team!

Had a nice family get together at my house last night. My brother was in from Anchorage. My mom commented on my weight gain :/ Five measly pounds and she notices. Ugh. Not going to let it bother me though. I know that I'm still in a healthy weight range even with the few extra pounds.

I have a lot to do today. I don't remember the last time we were this low on groceries! Also have a lot of house work and will get my strength training in today.

Himself returned late last night (well after I got back from the city). He has been sailing Long Island sound with a childhood friend.

Today we feel somewhat lazy but we'll hike all the woods paths so he can really feel like he's back home again.

Got up and cranked out the top two items on my Sunday to-do list before DH got home from his trip at 8:00 (prepared hummer nectar and changed out litter boxes). With laundry cranking away, we settled on the front porch with the cat and the first cuppa wakey-wakey juice (thanks SparkRadio for introducing me to that term).

Got surprised by the rain! I had heard there could be widely scattered showers, but it was pouring when I got up and has continued to rain all morning. Very good for the plants, but when it stops, it will be a steam bath with even a peek of sun. Another day to stay inside where it's cool and keep working. Did a lot of decluttering yesterday--the master bath linen closet, some stuff in the bedroom, a little in the pantry, a good bit of the teetering piles on the coffee table. Sigh, there's always more. Also, I managed to get my 10,000 steps in yesterday just by bustling around. Hope to do that again today

good morning.... what a weekend... spent 24 hours at relay for life and most of that walking Friday and Saturday.... so yesterday after we left did not do any exercise... went grocery shopping and then out for karaoke....

today I am about to go out the door for my 3 mile run... then hubby and will go geocaching for a couple hours then back to house to work on yard work....

NSV..... I may not be losing weight but I am back down to my size 6 and no muffin top when I zip them up

I am up and awake. I want to weed the garden this morning. I will be taking my little dog Dusty out for a walk. I want to hit the grocery store early and put on a slow cook chicken buffalo meal. I used the Spark Solution recipe. Have a great day! Linda from bean town

What a great family day Maree! How fun! An hour walk sounds like a good plan. I walk just shy of 45 minutes yesterday. I was pressed for time, couldn't keep going to hit the hour mark.

Happy Sunday to all and Happy National Pink day.

DH and I planned a long bicycle ride today but he woke up really stiff and is laying on an ice pad after taking an aleve. We shall see.

I will get out by myself if need be. It is B E A UUUUUtiful day here. It's gonna get hot but hey, it's finally summer!

Today's workout: An hour walk this morning.

Good Sunday morning!

Yesterday's 5K went well. Each of us improved our time despite humid and hilly conditions. Little two yr old ran the last few yards of a kids dash and was pretty proud of herself for winning balloons and ribbons!! My time was 32:04. I spotted a woman I expected to be my competition in my age bracket and I was right. Obviously an experienced runner , she beat me by about 30 seconds. So I came in second.

Not sure of today's workout. Something adventurous!!
