Sounds like your dog wanted to make things fun. Mine will come in if I am down on the floor doing something, which isn't very often because I can't get up. If I bounce on the bounce tramp she just stares at me. She isn't one to play much, though. She has some toys, but just ignores them. Even the little girl next door can't get her to play.

When my Lucky was still alive that would be the way he would react to anything I tried to do - and he weighed around the 70 - 75lb mark.. The current 3 beasties don't care what I do, so not a problem anymore.

You must have burned a whole ton more calories than you had origianlly planned for today's exercise session! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

That's so funny. That's like adding weights with your push-ups. You should count that lol.
What type of dog do you have? I gather a small one.

May I always be the kind of person that my dog thinks I am.

There is nothing that says haw many calories we burn with a dog, Walking then yes, if your dog is well trained. Everything else is, well you did it.

This morning as I was trying and I stress TRYING to do my strength exercises, my 1 year old dog decides this is great, she is full of energy and that means we get to play. As I was doing pushups she was on my back, while doing planks she is pulling my scrunchie out of my hair. As I do jumping jacks she thinks it would be great fun to jump up and pull at my arms. Forget about Russian Twists that was just an opportunity to bring me her rope and with every superman I attempted she thought jumping on my back and bringing me her ball was a great idea. Love my puppy but it is so hard to exercise with her around!
