Cassie also licks the carpet and her bed and cleans up after the cat throws up, so ends up gagging on hair. I am not sure what will help when she starts doing that. She did the gagging half the day yesterday and most of the night. She was also chewing on a comforter.

Thanks for the link, Jeanne. I didn't know anything about this and we have a little one that probably does this and we are thinking it's a "hair ball" gag. We will be able to watch her better with a little more knowledge!!

I am glad I came across this because I went on to Lyme Disease in Dogs and now I know our little dog who had this may have a reoccurrence in the future and we will have to be aware and act quickly.

It has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find it. What causes reverse sneezing? Cassie has been having reverse sneezing fits several times the last couple of days and I have problems getting close to her to try to help any. I was told by a trainer that they are like hyperventilating, but I don't know. She seems to go into a panic when these start.
