That is awesome!!! I'm doing the happy dance with you! I've maintained my weight for over two years now. It can be trying at times but it seems to be easier for me to maintain then to lose it all over again. I think that's what helps me stay put.

Definitely start making new goals. Once I hit maintenance, I started making fitness goals and of course I have a weekly running goal of keeping my weight where it's at. Probably sounds strange but it's a goal I work at and stay on top of and it has helped me.

Another thing, while at maintenance, your calories will increase. Try to stay at the bottom end of your calorie range until you're body gets used to the extra calories. I remember my body going crazy with the extra calories at first, it was a roller coaster ride in the beginning for me.

Your proceeding on the right Track for Maintenance Weight. And no, it doesn't get any easier:( But you'll find that its easier to cope with fluctuations if you stay vigilant and do not slip back into old habits. Find another Goal to set for yourself each month- endurance, or time goals are what work for me. emoticon

Congrats!!!! You have earned it. I came across a wonderful book that may help, Thin for Life: 10 Keys to Success from People Who Have Lost Weight and Kept It Off by Anne M. Fletcher. I found it on Amazon.com
I also registered with the National Weight Control Registry. If you have change your lifestyle, maintaining your weight loss will not be as hard as you think. Lorraine

I have met and exceeded my weight loss goal (215 pounds)! I am doing the happy dance on the lawn!

Now I enter the maintenance phase. I am not sure that keeping it off will be more difficult than taking it off or not. So, I am changing the way I record my weight. I changed my weight ticker to show my acceptable weight range and my current weight.
