We do ours at the end. The star is a recognition of years active in girl scouts, so you could do it at the first meeting once they've registered for the year. I think that is your call.

Our girls earn the wages pin she. They have done a project (it can be as simple as make
Ing a food, playing a game, or doing some research) related to a wages country. We used to have the girls pick something to do and then had a inking day event where each girl / group of girls had a 'booth' where they presented and then had a ceremony at the end when they were awarded their pins.

Can someone explain to me if the girl scouts get that star shaped pin AFTER a year in GS or during their first year? I asked at the store, and she said after, but read something that made me think once they were registered, they got it.

Also, the WAAGS pin, when/how do they get that?
