I'm our small town organizer and we only have one troop per grade. So we try to bridge all together in either may or September whichever works for the troops bridging. We have a park that has two bridges. We done it at night with candles and during the day with rainbow colors of streamers and balloons. It's awesome for the younger girls to see the older girls involved in GS.

I have a multi-level (rainbow) troop from Daisies to Cadettes, and we do all our bridging ceremonies at the same time.

My favorite was last year, we did an evening ceremony, all the girls that weren't bridging created a "Bridge" by creating two lines and holding candles, and then the girls that were bridging crossed the "bridge" with an unlit candle, and were met in the middle by the girls who were at the level they were bridging to with a lit candle. That girl lit the unlit candles of all the girls bridging and then they linked arms and walked across the "bridge" together.

it was a beautiful ceremony.

Does anyone have any good ideas for a combined level Bridging (Daisies to Brownies) and Flying Up (Brownies to Juniors) ceremony, or is it easier to do two ceremonies for each group?

We have 2 Daisy Troops (30+ girls) bridging and 1 Brownie Troop (my troop - 16 girls) and we decided that it would be awesome to have one big ceremony in the park in May - but need ideas to pull it together.

Thanks,
Kathy
