Well, we had our party Tuesday night. I was good and only had 1 slice of pizza. I thought I was good yesterday, but surprize - I was up 2 pounds today. I think some was water, as my rings were tight. But I have a tendancy that the water weight seems to convert to fat. How depressing. Looks like I will not meet my weekly goal for tomorrow. YUCK!

We have a District Talent show planned for our last meeting which is next Friday. Parents and friends are invited to attend and all the girls (Guides, Brownies and Teddies) will be taking part. After that we have a 5 week break from School and Guides. Teddies and Brownies have a Christmas Party this Saturday, this is a regional event and about 100 girls will take part.

We don't have the power to make rainbows or waterfalls, sunsets or roses but we do carry within us the power to make the world a better place.

Our troop is planning a Christmas Dinner for our county Girl Scouts and parents. This will be the first time we have had something like this in our area so we are helping out. The next couple meetings we are going to have the girls make a Christmas Present for Mom and Dad.

We aren't doing anything. two girls, 16 years old. they don't want to do much.

My daughter and I are going to see the Nutcracker though. My cousin's littel girl is a mouse. I can't wait to see it.

If you got a traffic ticket would you break every traffic law the rest of the day? Then why toss the whole day over a slice of pizza? ~Indygirl

Just wondered what everyone is planning to do for Christmas with their troops. We spent an entire meeting trying to agree on something and when to have it (I have 14 year olds). One group wanted to go to the zoo, but there was nothing "Christmasy" going on there, so I vetoed that for another time when the weather is nicer. Ended up with two events, on a Sat., we are going to see The Nutcracker on Ice - 3 GS (not from our troop) actually skate in it. Less than half had a weekend night free, so we are also going to have a party on our last regular meeting night. How about you?
