Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. We have tons of activities. Three resident camps - one with horseback riding, one with canoeing and archery, and one with sail boats near Galveston. We have four other camps in our council for girls to stay at. One has a ropes course. We span over the greater East Texas region so we encompass quite a lot. We can go to Galveston and stay at the Boat House or spend the night on the Tall Ship Elissa. So much to do in the Houston area.

GS of the Jersey Shore--and we have 2 camps (one from each of the merged councils) and they don't run too much for the older girls. I have 7 Ambassadors--5 graduating and 2 that I don't think will continue. I have 21 years as an adult in GS--3 daughters with Gold and Silver and I am done when the baby graduates in June.

GSSJC - Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. We are the largest council in the nation. Formerly, we were in the small South Texas Council, but were absorbed when they formed the super councils. The council puts on so many activites, that I couldn't possibly type them in.

One day at a time . . .

MN and WI River Valleys (River Valley). Was formed just a couple of years ago and we are still trying to figure out which camps we can afford to keep.

Just seeing this now!

I'm in the GSCNC (Nation's Capital) which encompasses Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland and Washington, DC. We have several camps, and there are a lot of activities focusing on Washington DC landmarks and activities that are offered through the council.

We are NEOhio South Region. We have a camp in our area but only 1/2 of it is open yet. There is a committee that is trying to save it and I hope they can.

NYPENN Pathways. We're most of NY and down into PA. We have 8 camps. It's newly merged so they are still figuring stuff out. They did run a really neat Media Tour thing this summer.

What Girl Scout Councils are you from? What type of Councils own activities do you have for your girls?
