I LOVE this website for simple craft and swap ideas:
http://www.makingfriends.com/

Most of the crafts have online instructions which is great and use common craft supplies you already have.

Have fun!

One very basic, simple and common SWAP is a small bedroll. Here are a few.

When we went to our Girl Scout Camp for Thanksgiving Weekend we had a scavenger hunt and found a few swaps while on it. One that is cool esp for camping is an empty 35mm film container with a walmart bag inside of it. They can decorate the container how they want and put the troop number on the lids. I thought it was really cool. This way they can pick up trash while there and keep their camp beautiful.

Just do a google search for girl scout swaps. There are tons of ideas on the web. My daughter made darling penguin ones with pipe cleaners. Some can be easy to make some can be more difficult to make.

This is an awesome GS site for anything. It is not sponsered by GS. But is great. It does have a lot of old and outdated info on it so becareful when doing badge stuff.

Click on the Site Search tab and look up swaps.

I can't find the penguin one now. It was a black pipe cleaner wrapped around a pencil. If you start looking at swaps maybe you'll find it. It was pretty easy. There will be so many choices you won't know which one to pick!

If you got a traffic ticket would you break every traffic law the rest of the day? Then why toss the whole day over a slice of pizza? ~Indygirl
