I have used a couple crock pot meals from here. That way they are done when I get home from work and I don't have to rush around to find something to cook esp on days I'm runnin all evening after work. My fav is the chicken cordon blue. And Slow Cooker Cube Steak and Vegetables the kids really liked. Hope this helps for you.

Well, right off the bat I think of salads. You can add meat to change it up & add subsistence. What about pasta variations with marinara sauce? That's usually quick & easy.

Ok, I need food ideas.

They need to be basic, nothing fancy, and kid friendly. I'm really a plain eatter, I don't like cooked veggies (I will eat most of the raw) and don't like a lot of stuff on my food. I'm REALLY REALLY picky.

I just know I can't go on eatting boxed mac and cheese, and microwave meals, and packaged food. I want to eat at home more (we eat out ALOT!)

Anyhow, looking for basic healthy meal ideas, there are usually only two of us at a meal, sometimes 3.

Thanks in advance, and I will be cross posting this, so sorry if you see this multiple times!
