My husband is very supportive, but he is Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop, so he understands. We both work together to help each other. I'm a merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts, and my husband is a registered Girl Scout and helps with cookie sales, camping and other events.

My husband is very supportive of my scout activities. But my scouting was around before him. I do wish I could get him to be more involved with it just so he could meet the women that are in it with me. Othewise I have no complaints.

My husband has always been supportive (although he used to complain that he couldn't fit anything in the back of the car because of all the GS stuff!). When our daughter was younger he used to help out with events. He knows that during the summer camp season and fall start up that I'm pretty busy but he's never really minded it too much.

My boyfriend sometimes gets a little jealous of the time I spend on scouting when it gets really busy. For the most part he's very supportive and proud of what I do with the scouts though, so I guess he's a little bit of both.

My hubby is supportive of my GS commitments. He doesn't like them sometimes but he never makes me feel bad for having them. He isn't as supportive as my friends but still supportive. My friend is the leader of the troop and myself and another friend are the co leaders. Her husband helps with ALOT of our troop projects, meetings, and all of our camping. He is a registered GS along with my hubby.

Is your Husband (Life partner) supportive of your Scouting commitments?
Mine has improved but still seems to resent the time I spend on Guiding. While at the training I spoke to other woman whose hubbies are so supportive and began wondering which husband is the norm.
So which husband is yours?
