Somedays I really have to force myself to begin. I guess since my weight has been creeping upwards for sometime now i'm beginning to wonder if it works. Truth is it works i'm not. So today i'm going to get moving.

Went to the gym at 4 this morning. I guess the guilt from yesterday gave me an extra push today. Did both cardio and strength. There are a whole different set of animals at the gym at 4 in the morning. The serious weight lifters were there. Made me tired just watching them.

I have zero motivation today...I think it is the heat and the fact that I didn't sleep well

Good for you! Don't beat up on yourself, some days we just have less motivation. BUT you still got in some exercise. emoticon

I did push myself out the door and while I skipped the strength/weight training portion of my workout, I did manage to persevere and do my cardio portion. My motivation wasn't there, but I kept at it until I finished. I don't feel bad or weak or anything ....just can't get this whole day into gear.

Like the Nike commercial says: Just do it! I read on this site that saying you will do 10 minutes helps immensely. For most people, once they get 10 minutes in, they keep going and finish the workout.
If you haven't had an "off" day maybe you need to take one. You can overdo it, you know.

After hitting the gym most days, walking trails, and basically staying on top of my work out routine, today I just lack the motivation. Typically I would have been at the gym three hours ago and finished with my workout by now. This morning I have been in my workout clothes for three hours, but not yet kicked myself into gear enough to head to the gym. Hopefully posting this I can convince myself I need to get up and go.
