It's about 5.5 miles long. It can get really hot to walk in the summer because about half has no trees and a long stretch is surrounded by asphalt. Park at the terminal and start from there to to get the most shade then go out and back, rather than the full loop.

The paved road at Lunken airport is wonderful, not sure how long it is, but it's nice, people bike it, rollerblade on it, and bike and walk on it.

I love Winton Woods, too. The beautiful lake and paved path makes for a really nice setting for walking. I like to peddle boat to get a nice 30 minute workout.

How could I forget Pyramid Hill! It's gorgeous and challenging, without the risk of traipsing through mud on unpaved trails, dodging mosquitoes. It's well worth the price of admission.

Sharon Woods, definitely! They have a great lake and beautiful scenery. Great paths and uneven terrain definitely give you a great workout! You have to have the Hamilton County Parks parking pass to park in there. But if you dont, it's only $10 for the whole year! (or $3/day) I say shoot for the year, it's totally worth it!!!

If I don't have much time, Glenwood Gardens is a quick and beautiful mile. I live nearby, and can get in and out in half an hour including getting there and getting home. If I have more time I like Winton Woods too. Really, all the parks are unique and great to walk!

I love walking downtown on the river. Will Park at Sawyer Point walk to stadium go over bridge into Kentucky then back towards Purple people bridge back into Ohio then down the park towards the boathouse. There are always people walking/running on the weekends so I always feel safe. Happy Walking:)

Ault Park on the East side has some nice hiking trails and great views of the river from the lookout points.

It's getting pretty nice out and I find I've been enjoying going for walks lately as an alternative (sometimes) to working out indoors. I absolutely love Winton Woods. What are your favorite outdoor spots to get fit?
