So glad to see your post!

I've been a little discouraged this week dealing with a hurt ankle. We enjoyed our holiday last Monday with a 2.5 mile family walk that is about a mile further than I have been doing regularly and I walked the next day even though my ankle had been a little tender (Aleve disguised it for me.) By Wednesday, I knew I needed to stay off it, but with my two little ones (2 and 3 1/2 years) and the little 5 month old I keep, I didn't get much rest until yesterday and today when my husband was home to help. It is feeling better now, but I am so frustrated about missing so many workouts. I found the 11-minute Seated Cardio Video from SparkPeople today and feel better that I at least did that. I think I will try to do it once or twice more today for a little more calorie burn.

I am re-reading a lot of articles. I need to get back to being active on SP. Life goes so fast and before we know it years pass by. I started back to the gym last week. So, I am here and hope others join too.

Just getting back into SparkPeople. I was very active in late 2008-2009, but got married, had a foot injury then 2 pregnancies and a back injury and lost every bit of ground I had gained. (And gained every bit of weight I had lost.) After several failed attempts to come back, I am finally doing it. Been back regularly since the last week of July and have lost 17.5 lbs so far. So disappointed to see that this group is inactive - it was a great inspiration to me in the past. Any penguins still hanging around out there and want to join back up? I think I will re-read my two books by The Penguin to get a little inspiration...
