There are fun bowling alleys! Also lots of arts events here. Museums, theater, comedy. I like the Brave New Workshop and Huge Theater, especially.

Establish a game night or afternoon with a small group. Are there activities you might enjoy like learning a new craft? Have a swim party at the Y or a community center? I winter in TX. and we stay busy with friends all day long. Some is with eating but there are many things out there to do. We particularly enjoy a variety of card games. Just a couple thoughts that aren't too costly either.

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

In the summer, we like to walk around any of the many wonderful lakes here in the Twin Cities - Calhoun, Harriet, Nakomis - etc. So many great places to explore. Figure out what city you want to meet up in and then Google the area parks and trails. In the winter, we usually walk around Mall of America or other shopping malls. Some places offer snowshoe or cross country ski equipment - maybe try that this winter. Or get everyone excited about geocaching - you can do that year round if you don't mind the cold.

Hi Team,

I'm wondering what suggestions you all have for activities to do with friends. Whenever I get together with my friends their primary focus is on going somewhere to eat. Secondary activities are things like going to Half Price Books, going to a movie, or going to a concert. I keep thinking can't we do something else? Can't we do something active?

Any suggestions?
