I'm a YMCA member, and today was Zumba class. If you've never heard of it, Zumba uses Latin music and a mixture of dance aerobics and Latin dance moves. I LOVE it because it barely seems like working out...it's just dancing!

I've done it before, I can do it again!

Attend our 1st Cycling class at 4 pm ... last Saturday we completed the intro class and it was so fun! Now our goal is to incorporate class times into our weekly routine :)

Daughter, Rose, and I are going to finish cleaning out the basement (it has not been cleaned out for about 20 years). We worked on it all last weekend and got about half done. Today and tomorrow we will be sorting and filling up a dumpster and making donations to a local charity sale. So far I have donated 150 boxes of mostly dishes, stuffed animals, books and fabric. It will feel good to get rid of all that old stuff.

To Nina, the women's running camp was advertised in our spark team's events. It's held at the Edina community center and we run around a small lake there. I am so glad I signed up for it! The head coach, along with 3 other women including the first woman to run the Boston marathon-illegally-since women were not allowed to run in marathon races, started this running camp!

Women's running camp sounds fun! Last night DH and I ran from our place down the river to Mill City Museum and walked back up. I definitely could have run farther, but he is just getting back into shape. It was really nice to run outside though and I'm looking forward to doing it again.

Today: Spinning tonight and some core strength training. However, I may just want to go home and go for another run!

just got off the phone with DH. we are going to meet at the gym, so we can get our cards scanned and pick up our workout clothes. then we are going to head home and go for a run down by the Mississippi. we need to go to the gym 12 times a piece in order to get the health insurance discount.

Monday: Walk (2 miles)

Tuesday: Nothing.... too sick {{{SIGH}}}

Wednesday: Walk (2 miles around lunch and another 2 miles after dinner.... feeling great!)

Today - Thursday: Yet again another walk.... Can't wait til I can get back to the gym!
