I just posted something about this..having a 1 week detox right before V-day. (I am actually on a two week detox right now..and its going great). I think you need to make healthy choices. The diet is "never off" because it is a lifestyle change!

Hello Ladies
I have not been here for a while but now I am back with a vengeance. I am ready to put me on my to-do list and am asking for guidance and assistance. I have let everyone else's problems become my excuse not to make time for me. THAT IS OVER !!! I have made an appointment to visit a nutrionist and renewed my gym membership. Which out world I'M GONNA TAKE IT OFF !! emoticon

Valentines Day, chocolate, dinner? Do people actually do that? My hubby hasn't taken me out for Valentines Day in so long...now that I think about it I don't know if we EVER went out so I should have no problem sticking to the diet plan!!

Usually I get flowers, a stuffed animal, a coat, a ring or something like that but we do not do dinner. My hubby joined SP last night because he has 20 lbs. he wants to lose (I WISH I only had 20 to lose) so he will probably not want anything to do with chocolate or dinner.

I plan to stay within my daily calorie budget on Valentine day. At least that's my intention.

I already told hubby not to buy me any big boxes of chocolate that would only serve as temptation for days afterwards. But I do expect chocolate. Just a tiny box of 2 to 4 chocolates (the good stuff) will do nicely.

I think I would rather have dinner at home where I can control the calories better. And if we go out, maybe just go for a small dessert and coffee.

And of course, flowers and other non-food items (small and shiny) are always appreciated.

That's the plan. I hope we can stick to it.
