Yesterday took a 50 minute bike ride and got in 115 minutes of exercise alltogether.
Stuck to my food plan and ate at set times.


Cravings and strong emotions go away by themselves. The only thing that lasts are the extra pounds.

I have been staying active around the house and I also went to the gym. 15 minutes on the rowing machine. Then I went for a long walk.

I am still working on a few projects that need to get done before winter sets in. I am just going to say even though I worked really hard it is actually a day off for my fitness. It is all good, I am just glad to get things done.

Christine- awesome I like using projects to stay active too- because you can see results.

Did not get 9 miles in today.DH snored on and off and with that and the rain pouring down I felt I would over do. The sun came out and I live near the bay so this afternoon I was able to get on bike and jump in.
I needed that.
DH will be home soon. Then back to college in 10 days.

Ate well and stuck to GBOMBS today

oh and..

on 9/9 I decided to run 9 miles for 9 days in a row no matter what..
so
yesterday I ran my 9 miles and I stopped because a gopher was on it's haunches- it looked like it was meditating lol so cute
so I stopped and stayed with it for 3 minutes in the same position. emoticon
It was nice to take in all the sounds and sights in the park

Today- there was flooding in spots and I had to run through water-anyhow I did and I got to another place where a runner had stopped and I saw ahead there was no way bu through so I raised my hands and laughed and went through and she said ok- you motivated me and she ran through the cold water.
Wet sneakers but miles done emoticon emoticon

I like the consistency of the 9 miles and then the little surprises.

AND I love being 57 and healthy and vegan and plant based emoticon

light out so off to run my 9 on day 2
and I found out MIL is having us meet at a pub. Family reunion and so I looked at their menu- featuring lobster
anyhow- this would be a challenge for anyone trying to eat healthy-
so
I am going to call ahead and ask for 2 baked potato-NAKED- and ask and 2 servings of steamed veggie- looks like they do have veggie side and the salad is just iceburg
and I will eat a big tofu scramble that day for breakfast

emoticon Hahaha, you are too sweet! I also think making your son his fave foods is a wonderful idea. Portion control does work for me too! I do not always work the eat to live program to the letter either.

Today I got my walk in and eating has been pretty good too! I am off for some veggies on my plate... sure helps to fill me up! :-)

41st! wow! What was this a teen wedding?! lol
I love the date too

I have backed off from going all out with exercise- sometimes just good to take a break.

DS is home- and I have been making some favorites - like pasta salad..so I am using a little portion control. Not necessary when following Eat to live all the way but I find now and again using a little caution will get me there... there being 123..which is another thing- I can't bring up weight loss as many people look at me and think?- what? why.. so.. I know I need to lose about 30 pounds and that is another thing I like about Dr. F.- he agrees!! lol

Oh wow, anniversaries don't count! Hahaha! I hope you have a great evening out! And early congrats!!! How many years? DH and I will have our 41st next December 31st.

I worked on the side yard today, and that is probably the only fitness I will get today. Just not feeling it as my hip is still not 100%. I am just glad to get that yard work done! Tomorrow I will walk! Heck or high water! :-)

Christine - me too since DH's birthday which was on 8/8- same here so I too would rather eat my 150 calories or more.. I also like having better sleep..but we do have a wedding anniversary on 8/31 and awe were gifted a card.. not sure amount.. but I had to make a choice about whu=ich restaurants and most f them look like they have either incredible wine s or craft beers- so I will have 1-2 drinks and then go back to AF.

Today- I did a step video and am going to have a huge salad for lunch

I have been alcohol free (AF) for a long time now. I cannot afford the calories as I would rather eat! LOL. I have also been known to make some bad choices when I have a glass or two! I just ate a plate of raw veggies so I am doing pretty good tonight! Woo hoo!!

Christine- when the kids were home we would have pizza once a week. I made the dough with only 1 tsp. of yeast and little salt and about 1/2 T of oli- and it would rise overnight. Sometimes - most times get sprouted spelt wheat too! Having it rise overnight was great- while we sleep and it brought out flavors and did not have to use much yeast.

- I think that can be ok depending on toppings BUT since it is just me around her..well! I hav to say no to delivery and not get wine.. as it would most like be 2-3 glasses with that one left for DH

- I just had to find stuff to do.. I'm glad could be your hero! I will stick to it- the day is not over yet...

Pizza is so hard to say no to. I did make a pizza the other day... used my bread machine for the dough... I don't think I will ever completely get away from it. Good for you for NOT giving in, you are my hero!!! :-)

My hip is a bit better... but not 100% yet. I won my Fitbit workweek hustle with 70,000 steps so I may have overdone it, ha ha!

I bombed out on the strength training program & I really hope to get back to it, maybe today!

Took today off from walking... my right hip is bothering me, oh well. Yesterday was a long walk though! :-)

Everytime I run when I am soaked I keep things about how heavy I am, hahaha!

Using a new free app "Fitness Point" and so far I think it is awesome. I went to the gym yesterday with my sister and we had so much fun calling each other "maggot" from a Tom Cruize movie... hahaha Edge of tomorrow... so good on a good big TV.

Already went for a short walk with sister, next the gym and will use Fitness Point. Strength training is something that I have been needing for quite a while now.

Food choices are good too, except breakfast, I am still eating raisin bran in the morning.

Weight is good at 144, according to my doctor, but I sure would like to get more muscles... Time will tell.

Yay on heartbreak hill!

I went out again today to walk in misty rainy weather which was not toto bad yesterday and then at 3.5 miles it POURED!!! So I ran 2.5
miles to get home faster until it let down. Soaked but felt great!
Also- am making good food choices based on E2l

WTG on walking in the rain!

emoticon 82 minute walk so far. Made it up "heartbreak hill" too! Breakfast is raisin bran, almond milk and a small banana.

Today- plenty of water Under heat advisory and we do not have AC
and made a cucumber gazpacho from a raw cook book.. please don't ask me for the recipe right now.. my brain is melting lol

I cleaned my guinea pig's cage which is exercise PLUS it makes me feel happy to see that the animals are happy!
Took a walk of half an hour in the evening and enjoyed the cool breeze.
Ate a healthy breakfast, evening meal and lunch.
