I have lost 32 pounds.

I kind of decided to try a few things and then just went off and so plateaued. What did not happen is that I went back anywhere near starting weight which has happened- yo yoing when I did other plans.

And so now I am back to Eat to Live to lose the rest of the weight.
It will happen this year!

It can be hard to translate what is in the book to what you actually eat. If the plan looks good I would try it.
There are a few members that have blogged what they eat. I do sometimes.

I have about 27 more to go if I base it on Dr. Fuhrman's recommendations.
Otherwise? I kind of have hit goal as I have a healthy BMI

Also- yep I did lose weight but I also go out on long runs and I swim and bike and I feel great afterwards. I don't remember the last time I had a cold. I feel healthy.
I just turned 56 a couple of weeks ago and so I would say that eating this way is very healthful.

I only use it as a guide. I have tons of vegan cookbooks- some are Eat to Lvie friendly - including Dr. Joel's and some I adapt.
