Thanks for your comments. I think I will probably order a copy, if only for the recipes.

I have read eat ti love and own eat for health, I recommend eat for health because it is the same program just broken down, it also has much more information, much of it gained from his patients who are on ETL long term, he has even bee surprised. the recipes are not non cook friendly and I don't cook

I like the recipes in Eat for Health a lot. I got a email today saying he is coming out with a new book on boosting your immunity.

I bought both books. I grab one every so often and read a section to reinforce what I am doing. I have also gotten the books on CD to listen in the car on the way home from work when I am most tempted to cheat.

When I started Eat To Live, there was no Eat for Health, so it seemed like a step backwards for me. But if you're just starting I think EFH is a bit more relaxed, eases you in to it. Like Anne said, also a way to get newbies on board with you. Both are good in their own way. He now has a new book coming out I think it's called Super Immunity.

I stay on my road and I don't change lanes.

It is more gentle, taking the changes in steps, reaching essentially the same end but more slowly. Lots of recipes.
When cooking for others not on the same path it can be very helpful, as a sort of middle ground.

I just read ETL (which I found out about after seeing Fat Sick & Nearly Dead, and wanting to learn more about Dr. Fuhrman) and now I'm juicing plus following his eating guidelines. It's been about 3 weeks and I feel great and have lost about 7 pounds. I was wondering how EFL differs from his latest book(s), Eat for Health, and if its worth purchasing, or if it might be just more of the same program, with new recipes.
