Wow, I am amazed that you were fascinated enough to read all our back posts! But I'm glad that the total picture that you saw was so positive. I'm happy to be here, too! emoticon

The most effective health-care is self-care.

Nutrition is the prescription.

You can literally stretch your lifespan by shrinking your waistline.

Nutrition and other lifestyle factors that you can choose are a more significant determinant of your health than genetics.

Filling your stomach with high-nutrient foods is like by-pass surgery without the surgery.

We are all born with an innate desire to not only survive but thrive.

Great idea, I never thought about reading old postings. I guess I'll have some good reading for my next day off.

Here's the one positive about having been sick.

Over the past couple of days, all I've done is sleep an hour or so, wake up, read for 20-30 minutes and repeat. With the exception of the emoticron and one-word threads, I finished reading all the back posts for this team.

I bring this up so that I can say:

1) I feel I know some of you so much better. It was wonderful to observe how you opened up to one another as you worked out ways to eat more healthfully, to learn what you are passionate about and to see how you respond to calls for help. What a GREAT team this is.

2) Anyone who wants to learn more about ETL can find helpful information in these back posts. They are full of recipes, cooking tips, shopping tips (vitacost and Eden beans, here I come), hilarious games (I LOVED the one in which you all finished one another's story) and great support.

I'm even happier to be here than I was when I first found the team.

I can't think of a better way to have spent my few waking hours than this. I feel as if I've graduated from pre-school and I'm now ready for kindergarten!

Thanks to you all for the effort you've put into making this team successful.
