Here's the address for the JCPenney Outlet Store (and I think they do sell window treatments, as well as just about anything else you'd come across in one of their catalogs.) I've never left that store empty- handed!

JCPenney Catalog Outlet/ JCPenney Outlet Store
2361 Park Crescent Dr Dk 901
Columbus, OH 43232

It is off Brice Rd/ I-70, in the Reynoldsburg area. Try MapQuest for better directions. Hope this helps!

oooo jcpenney outlet? that sounds right up my alley... i've bought a lot of curtains and such from them in the past... and we definitely need a ton of stuff still in the home... i'm assuming the outlet would have window treatments as well as a 'regular' jcpenney?

thank you so much for the heads up! really appreciate it! :)

EDITED: actually i just searched online for the address, would it be this one?

JCPenney
Tuttle Crossing Mall
5083 Tuttle Crossing Blvd
Dublin, OH 43016

That one seems to be the closest to Andersons, but not sure if they list outlets or only 'regular' stores? If you can maybe point me in the right direction... thanks again!!!

Now that you know where The Anderson's is located, be sure to check out the JCPenney Outlet store that is nearby. We've gotten some GREAT deals there!

Congratulations on your new place!

There's a Big Lots (that has a furniture dept.) and a Goodwill Store (the largest Goodwill in central Ohio) located on Morse Road, on the north side of Columbus. Both stores are located in the same shopping center and when I was shopping Wednesday, the Goodwill store had all their furniture on sale for half-price. (I don't know if the sale is still going on or if it was a one-day only sale.) Big Lots has many stores in central Ohio, so there should be one near you. They're having a sale on furniture this week. (www.biglots.com) Hope this helps!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I was wondering if the friendly folks here would be kind enough to help give me some ideas, being i'm new to town and moving into a new house that will desperately need furniture!

I'm not sure what some good local odds-and-ends and furniture stores there might be in town. I'm on a bit of a budget, but know that sometimes you can discover great "finds" at local shops.... such as one place I've been recommended and plan to go today is "Funky and Functional" in the Short North on High St.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any other similar places or such? I'm trying to avoid mass-department stores such as IKEA or Macys etc. because I do tend to like either 'older' style decor (french country, queen anne. even shabby chic etc) but budget is also an issue! I'd peruse craigslist but my boyfriend is wary of how trustworthy it would be for me visiting houses and such alone etc, so hoping to rely upon places of business, just need to find WHERE! :)

Really appreciate any tips or recommendations!!! Thank you so much!!
