Totally ashamed to say I have not seen the new movie. I'm with those whom love Stephen King so much that most of the new re-makes can leave me a bit deluded.

But I got it from my son as a gift so I'm putting it aside for a movie night in Sept when we pile up the horror movies for 2 month marathons lol.

I separated the 2 versions in my heart, if you will, and I love them both equally And differently.

I know a lot of "true" King fans hated the movie, but I really liked it a lot. Tim Curry will always be Pennywise but Bill Skarsgård did a pretty fantastic job too. This is one of so very few movies that I will brave the theatre for on opening weekend.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

Loved the movie remake! I can’t wait to see part 2.

I really enjoyed the recent "It" movie. I thought it was a lot less cheesy than the made for T.V. movie, although I know a lot of people enjoy that too. The second part of the movie, which tells the story of the group as adults, will be released in September.

The movie is, of course, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King.

Excited!
