We put one up every year. It’s a mixture of old and new and I like it old fashioned. It’s a 7 foot tree, artificial but we’ve had it for 30 years now.

It's not who you think you are that holds you back...it's who you think you're not...

We have downsized our tree in recent years, we have a small prelit tree and a few special ornaments to go on it.

I love putting up trees. I have 9 this year. One in each of the following rooms - living room, entrance area, dining area, kitchen, both bathrooms, bedroom, hallway, and office. The one in the bedroom is my M&M tree. The one in the hallway I'm making a Harry Potter tree. And the one in the office I hope to be a Star Trek & Star Wars tree. Haven't finished that one yet.

Since we just moved here in July I'm waiting until next year to figure out what outside decorations we want to do.

I'm kind of lazy when it comes to decorating, I think mostly because I know I'm going to have to take everything down and put it away eventually. If I were rich and famous and had "people" for that (and a bigger house) I'd have themed trees and rooms plus I'd do a fancy outside display. As it is, I've chosen to leave my artificial tree in storage and opted for a small real tree. I won't put all of my ornaments out, just my favorites and I'll hang a strand of garland high up on a wall (out of the reach of my cats) for my fragile ornaments. I have a hodge podge of ornaments collected over the years with no real rhyme or reason.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

I just posted a new “game” to decorate a tree for our team, which made me wonder... do you put up a Christmas tree? Just one or do you have more? Would you do a horror themed Christmas tree?

We put up one tree, but I work with a lady who puts one up in nearly every room of her house.
I would do a horror themed tree, but not as my main family tree. However, I do have a few creepy-ish ornaments on my family tree.
