I just watched The Crooked Man on SyFy on demand. It was pretty good.

Synopsis: The singing of a nursery rhyme sets in motion a bloody curse that awakens a demonic figure (Dmitrious Bistrevsky).

Dead Snow has been in my queue for so long. Now that I know some of you liked it I will move it to the top of my queue.

I saw Shut in and really liked it. I saw The town that dreaded sundown, Ginger snaps and Dead snow and really liked them. I saw Relic, the book, which I read last year and then saw the movie this year and loved them.

Iíve watched ReZort a couple of times on Netflix, which I had never heard of anywhere else and got a kick out of it.

Itís about an island that has the last of the zombies which had been annihilated on the main land. People took vacations on this island to go out and hunt zombies....but as you can guess everything goes wrong.

I really love "Dead Snow." It's a German horror movie about Nazi Zombies. I mean, really, can you get better than that? lol. It's gory, sometimes funny and actually pretty interesting. It used to be on Netflix but I don't know if it still is.

Another one is "Ginger Snaps." It's a coming of age story with a werewolf twist. Really good movie but I don't even remember it being in theaters or getting any recognition.

Frozen, not the Disney movie, is a good horror movie. It didn't get any attention but it's good!

Shut In is really good - didn't get much attention either. It's got a real twist at the end.

I really liked The Relic. I haven't read it but now I am going to!

Horror Hotel (or City of the Dead, the titles are different bc they changed the title in America) is an excellent movie. It's old and b&w. Christoper Lee. Need I say more? It's got a terrific story line!

The Town that Dreaded Sundown - the older version is pretty darn good.

The New Daughter. I really liked this movie! Why it didn't get attention is beyond me. It's a great story! Don't miss it!

I love the book the Relic, and have always wanted to see the movie but never have.

One of my personal favorites is the Postman released in 1997. It's a post-apocalyptic story in which a drifter (Kevin Costner) finds a sack of mail in an old mail jeep and steals some of the letters. He then passes himself off as a postman for the restored US government (which doesn't actually exist) in order to gain food and shelter in a nearby community and this myth he creates takes on a life of it's own.

I think it didn't get very high ratings, but I really like it. I just recently read the book, and as much as I liked the book this is one of those rare instances that I actually like the movie better.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon wasn't bad, The Cellar Door was ok too. The Entity has a good Rosemary's Baby feel to it.

I was browsing Amazon Prime for horror movies and I saw many I had not heard of. I wondered how many of them might be really good but for some reason we don't hear about.

Let's start a list of movies that you thought were good but is not very popular.

The first one that comes to mind is The Relic. I love this movie.

Synopsis: Thrilling tale about a deadly creature at large in the Chicago Field Museum. Following several grisly murders, a policeman teams up with a biologist to find the demonic force stalking the corridors of the museum. With the museum's gala opening being imminent, they face a race against time to track down the creature before it strikes again.
