I always wanted to work in a library or museum and then find some ancient artifact.

I would watch both of those movies!

I was pre-med for just a while when I first started college. I wanted to be an Obstetrician. So my horror movie version of that would be that hordes of women rush in to give birth, only it's not human babies but an evil alien form that consumes the mother from within!

Anne, even at your most uninspired, you used the word formulaic. I mean, that's pretty awesome! I have a thing for vocabulary and yours is impressive!

What if you were simply more devoted to loving your self?

I love old houses and buildings and love exploring them. I think it would be cool to restore old homes and if my new old home was right on the center of and ancient native burial ground or sacred land and also maybe he sight of some old battle or vicious attack and I had to fight multiple forces to try and find peace for the land before some grand uprising took place to ravage the whole town in the wake of the unsettled spirits.

I'm exhausted and uninspired tonight - but posting for Wednesday morning. None of the offerings on Netflix peaked my interest, so I'm going to go with a question that's a follow up to Tuesday's.

If you didn't have the job you have now, what job would you have chosen? And how would you make it a horror movie?

For me, it's super easy. I toyed with becoming an archaeologist but realized that as much as I want to be Indiana Jones (I know it's not really like that, the real thing is pretty cool too though) I prefer the creature comforts of home and hearth to traveling to wherever a dig might be. There have been a ton of horror movies surrounding this exact theme so it would be pretty formulaic. Archaeological team digs up and accidentally breaks something which releases and ancient evil into the world and then some hero has to step in and save the world.

I think mine would be a normal, run of the mill excavation. Nothing supernatural at all. But then a regular human serial killer would come in and start picking of members of the team and everyone would freak out and think it was supernatural.

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

My time zone is MDT
