Coraline www.imdb.com/title/tt0327597/

and Monster House www.imdb.com/title/tt0385880/

are the first to come to my mind.

The Corpse Bride would be pretty creepy, too.

I can think of several others, too.

I did see "Coco" but I didn't cry like most people. I was always a little terrified of the "Secret of Nimh" when I was younger. Those rats man, creepy.

Zootopia! This movie could easily have been a horror movie! www.imdb.com/title/tt2948356

This film freaked out a few little ones I know. When I saw it I found out why. I thought it was kinda hilarious in a twisted way!

What if you were simply more devoted to loving your self?

I rented Coco to watch with my son over the weekend. It's a kids' movie, and it's animated, so it's not in the horror genre. It easily could be though - if it weren't animated, and the mildly scary scenes were allowed to play out scarier it could be a creeptastic horror movie. I'll share the link and info here, in case you're interested.

Have you seen this one? Did you like it? And the real question of the day... What kids' movie do you think could/should be remade in the horror genre?

I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.
