When I need to add a little boost to my caloric intake I am trying to add a "High-Density Mass Gainer". I have the vanilla flavor and it is yummy! Here is the web address so you can check it out:

I don't use it everyday. Just when I think I need a little extra in my diet. The website states that there is a small amount of aspartame as one of the sweeteners. They do make another without this. It is the Super HeavyWeight gainer. Let's see if it works!

I have been considering using a protein supplement, which would make a nice addition to my morning smoothie. I have been trying to keep my diet high in protein in order to gain weight, and I think this would make a great added source. I would go for a whey or egg protein powder, since soy supposedly lowers testosterone and would be bad for a guy like me looking to bulk up. Let us know if you decide to start supplementing and how it helps you reach your calorie needs and gain :)

Is anyone using whey protien or weight gainer powder mixes?

I've been getting 2700 cals one day and 1900 the next, I'm thinking using supplements might help me even out the low cal days, but I have no idea what to try, or if I should even bother. The GNC guy wasn't really any help, either.

Let me know! Or I'll experiment and let all you know!
