I don't homeschool, but I do work outside the home, so I do know a bit about trying to juggle!

I have a friend who worked outside the home parttime, and homeschooled her two children. She had all the sit-down schoolwork scheduled for the mornings after breakfast when everyone was calm and focused. She then had a nanny for the afternoon when she went out to work. They did extra "work" or projects or field trips to museums and things in the evenings and weekends.

Good luck to you!

What if we woke up tomorrow with only those things that we thanked God for today?

Hi DeAnne! I also homeschool my 3 kids. They're 16, 14 and 10 (plus another one due in July). Unlike you, I don't have another job to try to juggle. I don't know how you do it! I can imagine how stressful it must be.

Are you new to Sparkpeople? I've been here for a couple of years, and it's really helped me learn to keep my life more balanced (as far as eating well and exercise goes, at least).

Hi Moms
I was just wondering if any of you were Catholic Homeschooling moms? I am and I have homeschooled in the past, but this is my biggest challenge. I'm working from home for my husband's business, a customer service job and homeschooling three kiddos- 7, 9 and 11. My stress level is high and my eating is off the charts! I am committing to doing things right in the new year and I'm looking for like-minded moms.
:) PM me if you'd like.
