Ready as I will ever be at this point! Anything else major that needs doing, someone else needs to do it this year. I'm taking it easy up until Christmas Eve dinner~

Same here - my older dd works in retail, so we waited until she was home before we finished the tree.

My DH finished putting up our tree this evening. I have finished my rosary, Christmas novena and Christmas devotion study for the day. I am ready.

Merry Christmas everyone!

There were quite a few things that didn't get done, but no matter. We celebrate Christ's birth regardless!

A very merry Christmas to you all.

May God bless you today and every day.

I am totally ready for Christmas. I just finished making deviled eggs and am done with all that I can do tonight. I am going to do some sparking and then will say my rosary and Christmas novena and before you know it, it will be midnight.

MRSJARI--don't sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the fact that you kids want to decorate for you--that help may not be so forthcoming in years to come. Take a deep breath and enjoy the holidays. Time is short--try to enjoy the now

I am not quite ready for Christmas celebration, yet I am trying to celebrate anyway emoticon
I feel so disjointed this Christmas, and am trying to connect. emoticon My children have taken over the decorating. We are in a new house emoticon and I am trying to figure out what goes where - they, the three who do not live here anymore, took over the decorating and so on. They are telling me no, I can't decorate like this or that, when it's not their house! I'm trying to let it flow, and go on. emoticon We shall have a good Christmas celebration in any case.
Right now, my husband and the two youngest are at the Children's Mass. We are all going back to Midnight Mass, and some to morning Mass.

Tomorrow is Christmas. Are you ready? Likely there were many things you wanted to do in preparation before Christmas, but the time passed too quickly.

No matter. This is God's work. The coming of Jesus is God's personal act of entering our lives. Through the prophets, God promised it, and now God does it.

Like the Magi and like the angels, our response is simply to kneel in praise and to adore. This is our response to the birth of Christ. This is what we truly prepare for.

In a few hours, Christmas will be here. We are reminded of the wondrous divine self-gift. Let us then kneel in praise and thanksgiving to adore.
