What if we woke up tomorrow with only those things that we thanked God for today?

CJ, I don't have the chaplet so I did say the prayers by counting on my fingers!

Thanks, ANDROMEDA!
I don't think I have one of those chaplets, so I would just have to say the prayers, counting on my fingers or something.

I should check all my chaplets/rosaries, though. I actually have a bracelet, which is a single decade of the rosary, but I never realized until a couple of weeks ago; I just thought that it was strange how the little pieces of silver were not symmetrically placed around the beads.

I finally realized that it was because the "little silver bits" were the sections between the Our Father bead, and the Hail Mary beads!

I found this in "My Treasury of Chaplets". Apparently, there is a specific chaplet for this consisting of 3 groups of 4 beads, separated by one large bead and a medal of the Immaculate Conception attached to the end. The chaplet was composed by St. John Berchmans, SJ and recited by him daily to obtain, through the intercession of Mary, the grace never to commit any sin against the virtue of purity. I looked it up mainly as a way to say something special on this day, especially when the Sunday of Advent took precedence over the feast day. here it is:

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

First set of beads

1) Blessed be the Holy and Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
2) say the Our Father once, the Hail Mary four times and the Glory be once.

Repeat the above set of prayers for the 2nd and the 3rd set of beads
