Thanks for all who prayed for me and are praying for my friend to get some clients as well. My friend also needs prayers today for her 9 month old daughter who is having surgery as I type this. I am late getting this in here, but I figure it is never too late for prayers. If nothing else, we can pray for a speedy recovery! Thanks to all.

Offering prayers of thanksgiving for OURMAMAN's job (if all goes well), and for MOMTOHEC's new clients.

Offering praise and thanksgiving for this past week.

Not only is my tooth (infected area) better this week, but the adverse reactions to the antibiotics I was taking are now finished, and my cold is getting better.

Also, I was getting quite bogged down with sadness. Every person I spoke to at work, or in my personal life, had some troubles, be they work related, personal, moral, health-wise, etc. I was getting more and more depressed about it all.

Then, Thursday morning, I realized that Satan had gotten in. He had snuck in, and wasn't letting me see the light. As soon as I realized, I prayed right then and there for my guardian angel to protect me, and I thanked the Holy Spirit for showing me what was happening.

I walked down the hall at work, to speak to a good friend. She nodded sagely when I told her. She then wordlessly pointed to our school calendar (we are a Catholic school, so have feast days listed). It was the feast day of the three archangels! St. Michael, defend us in this day of battle! I got goosebumps when she showed me. No wonder!

We must be doing good work at our school for Satan to be attacking all of us in one way or another! But we know the ending, right? God wins.

My sister's kidney is blocked The doctor thinks it could also be cancer but he shouldn't say that until they are certain. They are going to put in a stint to drain it and then go from there. She is making progress walking but her legs give out unexpectedly and she has had a few falls. Thank God she didn't break a bone or worse.

Once she is able to walk unassisted she is going to start chemo. Praying she makes it through and heals once more from cancer. Also pray she never gets it again, it's taken a lot out of her with everything and I don't think she can take any thing else.

Please pray for my sister!

Thanks to all who prayed for me. The family with 2 kids signed with me (part-time) and another person I had interviewed a few weeks ago called to say her daughter would be starting next week (also part-time). I figured out my monthly income with all of this, and it will be more than enough! Thanks to all again!

Now I need to ask for the same prayers to go out for my friend Sara. She is in the exact same boat as I was. She needs to get some families as well! Please help me pray for her! Thanks!

After trying for 9 years, she adopted, and it took another 5 3/4 years after she adopted for one of my friends to go to the doctor's with unexplained symptoms which turned out to be her first pregnancy....miracles happen every minute of every day. May yours happen someday, and we'll all keep praying. You're in my prayers too!

ksabby, My brother and his wife tried for years to have a child then decided to adopt. They only wanted two children so on their second adoption they found out that they were also pregnant. :) You see in God's time which is not our time your prayers will be but God had two children adopted before the prayer was answered. Relax because I think the desire to conceive causes stress so pray and then have faith that God will give you the answer in the Lord's time. Patience is really a virtue and I too have difficulty practicing what I preach but I constantly pray for patience and to obey God's will and not mine.

My prayers are with you that you do conceive and even a double blessing of twins if that is God's will!

My prayers are going out to all my sisters and brothers that are in need no matter what their need be that God's blessing be upon you!

God Bless and keep you safe with joy, happiness and peace as well as prosperity! May God also help give guidance to those that can turn our country around to prosperity with laws and leadership for all not just the few and place God back into our country.

Just an update on me....still not expecting. Please continue me in your prayers.

It's not selfish Momtohec and the Lord believes in abundance only mankind limits themselves so I pray the outcome is a positive one.

Also need prayers for my daughter whom moved to Oregon and has not been able to find a job yet and the bills are now due. Her stress level is high and the anxiety is getting the better of her. I believe in the power of prayer so I will pray for everyone here as well.

Peace be with you and may the Holy Spirit guide your path and may Jesus raise us out of the ashes. For Jesus who is in us all is greater then that which is trying to destroy us and our faith so I will be praying and waiting on the Lord for deliverance.

Praying for all! Please pray for our parish as several families are having problems with our new priest. My husband and I are thinking of switching parishes and this makes me very sad as we have been at this parish for over 20 years!
Also please pray for my children, especially my younger daughter who is trying to discern her vocation. Today she told me she is thinking of moving to another state to live with my mother and check out the college there. This breaks my heart but in a way I can see why it would be good for her to "get out of town." (people at her work)

The time that we take to rest and devote to God shouldn't become something that turns into an act "works". He's word tells us that He is with us at all times, That we are loved so much that He will quiet us with His love, give us peace and rest and save us. He rejoices over each one of us with singing.
The last thing that should happen when we are sitting quietly praying and seeking His face is for this time to become an act of labor, another task to accomplish before we hit the floor running.
He wants us to come to Him with joy in our hearts and a willingness to just be quiet with Him.

Hi all,
Over the past month I have battled a renewed attack of migraines which has resulted in a strain on my heart and the accompanying problems. At the moment my left side is severely affected, my left foot from knee to ankle is swollen and I have now curtailed my exercise routine. I really don't feel well. I am asking for prayer for the improvement of my health. Thank you all for your response.
