I think it's a good read for everyone. Plus it can keep you in a positive mode. I am sure you will enjoy it.

I think it's worthwhile. I love reading the history of how SP started. The before/after pics are really motivating but you can also see a lot of those online also. Chris, the founder/author is so inspiring and motivating. You feel like you're there with him when he writes about his early days. I recommend reading it first and then deciding whether or not you want to buy it. There's a Reader of the Spark team that you can join when you read it too.

Thank you, I'd love to borrow it, and then if I fall in love I'll go buy my own copy so I can highlight and underline to my own hearts content.

Thanks again!

Good morning!

You're in luck! Linda2blittle left me her copy with the stipulation that it be shared. I can give it to you at the March meet and greet and once you've finished reading it, give it back to the team to be passed on.

I HIGHLY recommend reading it! I have skimmed through the book and am moved to underline everything I read. So, yesterday I began reading it the right way - at the beginning and I can relate to EVERYTHING he says.

So whether you want to borrow the team copy, or buy your own, again, I highly recommend it.

Would anyone recommend getting The Spark book? I wonder if its just the same information that is on the website here... Does anyone have it and has it made a difference as an accompaniment to the sparkpeople website?

I've considered picking it up a few times, but I dont want it to be another dust collector.
