I'm with you on the smile & compliments... sometimes people we pass throughout the day may be having a rough day and just having someone smile at them might help them through the rest of their day and help to cheer them up. I too like to smile at people when I pass them when walking or when I see them in stores, I don't always do it, sometimes I might be having a bad day and find it hard to smile throughout the whole day, but majority of the time, I'm smiling at everyone around me when I pass them.

I think smiling really helps. It sounds small and trivial, but smiling at people, to people, and with people really does make a positive change in peoples lives.

I like to smile to people walking along the street when I drive around (I'll even wave on occasion whether I know them or not hehe), I like to smile with cashiers, and at other customers in the stores I frequent. There are so many chances to share a smile everyday, and it really makes people feel special and appreciated, and that pays forward to everyone else they meet that day!

I'm also a random compliment giver. I like to take a minute to compliment the things I appreciate. So I've been known to compliment friends and strangers on their outfits, hair days, and even eyebrows lol!

Reposting, due to everyone being seemingly too busy yesterday.

The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to him his own.
- Benjamin Disraeli, British statesman

Q HOW CAN YOU BRING OUT THE BEST IN OTHERS?

Everyone has hidden treasures of talent and undiscovered potential. Everyone has something substantial to contribute. Why are these valuables still buried beneath the surface? Why don't they shine through? Confidence may be an issue. By teaching someone a new skill, you can help build that confidence. People need someone to believe in them. They need to know that if they take that first step out of their comfort zone, someone will be supporting them all the way. With small words of encouragement, with just a little extra time, that someone could be you. In some cases, others may just be unaware of their true abilities and potential. If you've never tried to shoot an arrow, how do you know that you're not the next Olympic archer? Concentrate on bringing out the best in others, and you'll bring out the best in yourself. Then stand back and watch 'em go.
