Eating out is my weakness. I love to go out to eat. The only thing i have to worry about it the person or people whose company I am enjoying and getting box before my meal reaches the plate. Emotional eating is also a hard one. I usually just have one bad thing for the day rather than spending my entire day splurging, but it continues bad modes of thought I am trying to undo. Going for a walk is better than eating that French fry.

2 ways I slow down the process of my weight loss is by NOT working out on a regular basis all the time. I do great working out for a week or 2 and then something gets in the way and bogs me down and I end up falling off the track. I then eat more than I should and then I regret it later cause my stomach regrets it. I should know by now I don't need all the foods I put into my mouth. Some times I overeat cause my taste buds love the taste of what I'm eating, I sit there debating back and forth, should I have more, should I not have more? I should listen to my body instead of my taste buds. When I listen to my taste buds, I'm usually in trouble with my stomach, lol. I posted a blog yesterday about my persistent problems, which was the weekend challenge for the team. Hopefully facing my problems will help me to do my total BEST this week and every other week! I talked to hubby yesterday told him I was having a difficult time staying active and accountable... I told him I needed a push, so what'd he say? So go do 15 sit-ups and ride the stationary bike for 20 mins... I told him ok, then I just kept putting it off, but he wouldn't let me forget, lol. I finally got it done, did 30 sit ups & 21 mins stationary bike. I was all sweaty by the time I was done, which I've not been so sweaty like that in a while, but I felt GREAT! Much better than what I did before I started. He says now do that 2 times a day, morning and evening, I told him I'll try... lol. He says, we'll get you to your goal weight, don't you worry! :D I love my hunny!

Oh and also yesterday I found a different BMI calculator, it goes by your age, gender, height & weight. In fact there are several different calculators on this site, they all go by your age first. Here's the link if anyone is interested... www.calculator.net/weight-loss-calcu

So... my goal this week... shoot for 30 mins or more of fitness each day. Also, try to fit in more veggies & fruits when I eat & drink more water.

It may easier said than done. But try not to let it get you down. Remind yourself while you're at those parties that you've only got this 1 body and you're not gonna waste those drinks on your body. And waste away those hard worked minutes and time at the gym. Don't dwell on it for too long either. You will get past this. The main thing is, you've admitted to the problem, now you've gotta work on changing that problem into good. Remember 1 day at a time, 1 week at a time, 1 weekend at a time. YOU are worth all the work & effort you put into your journey. You WILL overcome this obstacle!

The weekends kill me. Events rule my days and evenings Friday through Sunday and they all involve food. I need to start telling myself that I don't need to indulge for someone elses special occasion, but at this point I'm still struggling.

For instance last Friday there was a get together and even though I only planned for one margarita I had two. I didn't need the second one, but because the thinking of 'its a party' came into mind I gave in to my instant gratification instead of holding onto my ultimate goal. This wouldn't be so bad if it were every once in a while, but I have an event like this almost every weekend, so that sort of thinking just wont cut it.

The worst part of it is when I do those sorts of things it negates the hard work I put in at the gym. That extra margarita took away 30 or more hard earned minutes on the recumbent bikes.

I know I can learn to grow past this, and having questions like these really help get me there!

Q - HOW DO YOU CONTROL, BECAUSE OF FEAR, YOUR WEIGHT LOSS/HEALTH/FITNESS JOURNEY?
***In other words, how do you slow your weight loss down, or make obstacles to your program, simply to control the speed or progress?***
