Lots of times when I do my ST or walking I don't listen to anything... I don't know why, lol. Well for 1 with walking, I don't have any IPod, but I do have my cell phone which has a Radio called Slacker Radio, which I use now while I'm working out.. but I don't have anything to plug into it so I can listen to it while walking. Might need to look into changing that.

When I walk I listen to music, when I am on the treadmill and bike at the gym and when I am in the steamroom. I listen to gospel and other inspirational music.

Hehehe @ Cyndall. I *TOLD* you she was awesome. You seriously should just learn to listen to me and accept what I have to say as gospel :P

I sometimes listen to Pandora or some mix on my iPod. As I tend to work out with my SO we're usually obnoxiously talky while we warm up and cool down. When on machines, I tend to read a magazine, too.

If walking, I like to listen to what's going on around me and use the quiet to do some discursive meditation.

I listen to Pandora Radio while I work out, and my favorite station right now is the Mindless Self Indulgence station. It plays MSI, and System of a Down, Birthday Massacre, Emily Autumn (whom I'm liking a lot more these days) and a bunch of others. It's totally great for a really hard pushing myself sort of workout. At least for me!

I only work out with music if I'm doing a long walk (about 2 hours). If I have my baby with me, I plug my iPod into her stroller and she finds the music soothing for those long walks. I have a ton of 80's stuff downloaded onto it. I listen to just about EVERYTHING, and if I find that I need something more upbeat than what's on, I skip to the next song. I also listen to current stuff: Country: Kenny Chesney Pop: Lady Gaga some alternative. Yup, just about everything.
