It was an interesting race all night and I thought Junior might have a chance at the end. But as usual something always seems to come up in side tracking win. I'm disappointed but the call was made to go the distance and it almost worked. Another good finish keeping him in solidly in the points race.

Please say a prayer for JR and let him get just one win this year!

I watched Indy and yes, the rookie who was about to win ran into a wall on the last corner. It was kind of a bummer but I liked the guy who won, too.

As for the Cup race, I don't really like Junior particularly much but I don't wish bad things on him, either. I was actually kind of happy when Johnson's car blew up (sorry, Johnson fans, but I've come to understand how Gordon's detractors felt when he was winning everything in sight for 3 or 4 years...) but I thought it was kind of a drag when Junior ran out of gas. Not so much that I wanted him to win, but it was definitely a win I could have felt good about. Harvick I can take or leave.

I didn't cry, but I did cuss! Both when Jimmie's engine blew with 5 laps to go and when Dale ran out of gas. After Jimmie's misfortune, I was really routing for Jr. I was crushed! I'm not a fan of Harvick, so that was like pouring salt into an open wound. emoticon

What a race Sunday night huh? Wow! What's worse than your favorite racecar driver running out of gas when he's about to win the race? Paying $200 in tickets to be there in person to actually WATCH Tony run out of gas in NH last year! UGH!

But, what's really worse I think, is when you haven't won a race since 2008 and you almost, so close, win, but you run out of gas......I feel your pain Junior fans. Sorry. I didn't watch the Indy 500 but I heard the guy who was going to win (really close) crashed? I miss the days when Tony raced both the Coke 600 and the Indy 500....ah, when we were young (and thinner!)
