I've lost 8 lbs in 2 wks but it was too fast & my calories were way too low. I changed calories to 1,200 to 1,550. As if last Monday, I had 20 lbs to go. Weigh in is Monday again. I'll see how I do w/more calories. My target date is 5/20 so I should be ok. The Nutrition Planner/Tracker is the best system for me. emoticon

Paula sounds like you just got some very good advice. Tracking is another good tool to use on here. I have been stuck with only 10 pounds to reach my goal weight but then I didnt have that much to lose. I am not really upset as I have not had transportation to get to curves for my exercising. So the fact that I am maintianing is good for me. Healthy snacks are important. Wishing you lots and lots of luck

its not a diet it has to be a life style change which means eating healthy and you have to speed up your metabolism you need to eat every three hours small meals for breakfast eat your fruit first this very important it helps with your digestion yogurt light is good up to three 6oz. servings a day boiled eggs no white flour at all this is very very important 100%whole wheat every thing pasta,bread,pancake mix,etc.stay a way from fast food and sugar it is so bad for you i use truvia its a sugar substitute taste great and has zero calories be sure to read all label's count calories very very important read!! read!! read!! knowledge is power there is so much to learn and sometimes it can be a little over whelming it is going to take alot of self disapline if you have any questions email me emoticon emoticon

I started on this journey at the beginning of January with 100 pounds to lose. Looking at that number is very daunting. I am curious to know how many of you are near your goal weight, what has helped you to stay the course, and how long has it taken you to get there?
