Some of these I had heard of, but others I had not..... Do you have any tips to share?

I never buy potatoes anymore because I don't use them up fast enough. My sister has a large family so I get a few from her big bag occasionally.... But I had never heard of putting an apple in the bag to help them keep longer....

Last summer I threw out a lot of strawberries because they went moldy before I could get them in the freezer (sometimes just overnight ! ! !) This summer, I am going to try washing them in vinegar when I get them home from the store..

I have stored my celery wrapped in tin foil -- it works well, but never heard of plastic on the bananas. That is definitely one I will try. I hate "brown" bananas so I usually only buy 1 at a time....
