If you are having a bad time with your boss, the stress can keep your numbers up. It things do not improve, I would suggest going over his/her head.

Sorry to hear you are having problems at work. Been there, done that, even have a t_shirt, really, I do...... It doesn't say "My boss is driving me nuts", but it does have the company logo on it......I keep meaning to throw it away, but then I think it's a great reminder of what a boss should NOT be.....

Don't worry too much about a 5.7. It might be a tad high but it is not as bad as a 8.2 where mine was 4 months ago. Now it's back down to 5.8 so I was very happy with that.

When I worked in the Psychiatric facility, the nursing staff was very happy with patients who had anything below 8.0

So take it as a positive that 5.7 is a good thing. Then just see if your meals or routine needs any tweaking and go from there.

Come back often even if it's just to chat, or vent. We are here for you.....

Best wishes to you........ emoticon

I haven't been around too much, but there is a lot going on!
We are ramping up for our busy season at work, and I think my boss has some sort of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde ailment.
Seriously, she is driving me nuts!

I had a bad time of things also with my last a1c results. It didn't get worse, but it didn't improve either, I am still hovering at 5.7...its maddening. It threw me into a bit of downward spiral with my depression for a bit, but I am still working on it!

I am trying to find a bit of free time to spend online here and also on the ADA website...both to share information, learn new info, and just because I want a little free time to do with as I please!

I hope everyone is doing ok and taking the best care possible.

Man sacrifices his health in order to make money.

Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;

The result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.
