i found that in life you cannot always choose what you do when you are out in the rest of the world..i have learned to control myself..yes i can have just one chip yes i can have a cookie yes i can have anything i want..and because i can i can enjoy being out with people and not feeling any guilt..i did not give up life to lose my 273 pounds and i have not given up life to maintain it for four years now..it only 'assails' you when you can't and there is really nothing stopping you

It is very hard for me to eat only a couple of potato chips. I would mindlessly eat the whole bag..... Of course, if they were flavoured, they would sit there for 20 years and I wouldn't touch them. But if they are "ripples" (without the dip, of course), they would be gone in a flash.....

So I very seldom -- if ever -- buy them.

After all, out of sight is out of mind.....

Is there a food that you find you cannot stop eating once you start?
