I used to take Victoza and I had some bad side effects. It made my gallbladder worse and I had to have it removed. I haven't taken it again since the gallbladder surgery but the doc might try to put me back on it. Sorry your having side effects.

Thanks y'all for the input. Dr. has lowered my dose and that seems to help.

I have been taking Victoza for a couple of years. The only side effect that I had was nausea that went away after a couple of weeks. My doctor told me if I kept getting nauseous, to try taking it at bedtime instead of taking it in the morning. emoticon

Sorry to hear you are having side effects. I don't take it so can't help there. Hope someone else can help......

What does your doctor say about it?

I've been on Victoza for about 3 months now. Stuff makes my blood sugar reading in the 90-140 range, but I've been having some side effects and I wondered if anyone else here takes it and what your experience has been, good or bad.
