I am not a vegetarian, and I don't think I could ever be vegan, simply because at this point I can't imagine a world without cheese and eggs. I believe everything else could fall by the wayside and I would be okay. The fact is, I've never been a huge fan of meat, although I grew up with the belief than whatever meat was served was the focus of the meal and everything else just had sort of a supporting role.

However, I've always had a take it or leave it kind of attitude about it, and so with this lifestyle change, simply trying to eat more whole plant based foods. I've been at it about three weeks now and I've found some amazing recipes.

I do find with my tracking that my protein is always a bit off, but I don't know if it really is an issue or not. I am eating so that I'm not ever really hungry until it's actually time to eat. Many times, this is my signal, so that's a nice change.

Anyway, I am here to learn more and maybe contribute once in a while. Look forward to getting some good information from this board.
