You can do this! How timely it was for me to read your post this morning because I just wrote in my journal when I woke up, that today is an new start for myself as well. My situation mirrors yours so closely it is uncanny. I think we both have to realize that external circumstances will not be made any better by not taking care of ourselves and will actually only make our outlook through difficult situations worse. I have to keep reminding myself of this.
I know we can do this as evidenced by the fact that we both lost around 30 pounds before. I am excited for you and your new start. I have just started keeping a type of encouragement journal/planner to help keep myself inspired. You might find doing that helpful to you as well. Plus, it is kind of fun to gather helpful hints and inspiring quotes in a scrapbooking style project. It helps fulfill my creative side as well. I wish you all the best but know that you did it before so you know how and you will do it again! Have a wonderful day! emoticon

Hello my friends! I am a 62-year-old married grandmother who lost 33 pounds three years ago through mindful eating, walking and running the treadmill. Unfortunately a broken relationship with someone my family considered a son happened. Now, as I write, I gained 32 pounds back. I am ready to transform myself. With all your support, I can do it. I need to have low purine diet, diabetic and low cholesterol diet. My goal is to lose 50 pounds for my son's wedding on May 27. I believe I can make it with your support.
