I did exactly the same!!!! However I tried the 5:2 diet and it worked but I was always so hungry on diet days . I then tried 3:4 where you eat 1000 calories fir 3 days and 1500 calories for 4 days and I find this suits me better as I am no longer hungry all the time . I am in fact vegan . I enjoy trying new recipes to . I find this is working far better and I can maintain this way long term and adjust it better .

I'm very keen to maintain my weight that I lost last year through exercise and healthy eating with the help of weightwatchers for 4 months and continued exercise throughout the years. Unfortunately one got a bit complacent over the xmas period and bad habits started to return slowly and before you knew it the weight came back. I need that assurance and support to maintain that healthy body and rid of the excess baggage that has found its way back. I'm trying hard again to drop that excess especially around the mid-drif, they have a word for that body weight. I have tried and tried to lose bit by bit but come the w/e all the good work is damaged through stupidity on my part, and careless. exercise is not my problem but alcohol and chips is. little things that add and be big things is the issue. over a week i'm out of control. I am 64 years old and would so much like to read other comments perhaps there's someone out there who has the same problem.
